Maid Mess

Begin the summer vacations, and all the maids start packing their bags for the hometown visit, attend marriages of their relatives & children, arranging their closets back home for next coming year...which means a complete gaga time for the maids and a hustle bustle in our lives. How much we depend on these maids , this is the best time to realize. 
          Though some are smart enough to make more bucks by staying and continuing to work in the vacations. And really the money they demand comes as so out of the blue. During this vacation time, suddenly the supply and demand criteria comes into picture. So much conversations, bargaining, and unrealistic wage demands makes this summer vacation more dreadful to us. Also if one refuses to hire her adhering to her demands,( by the way the house lady doesn't  have the option of refusing, its they{maids} who decide if they want to work or not) these maids will not allow any other maid to do work at the refused house.  
           These days we are dealing with this ordeal daily. Lucky enough we got a new maid. Now she has her own timings. Today was her first day of work at our home, I just woke up and surprised to see her done with all her work, that too at 7:30 a.m. Before S left for the office she left her office (our home).Maids rock, we shocked ....
Anyways have to get along with her work schedule, as we are lucky ones having a maid in off season :D
