New year Gifts to my family

While I rarely get to watch tv, credit goes to my little one keeping me always on the toes, recently i had this encounter with it. There was this serial going on in which the female protagonist is some sort of IPS and her husband is a 'Halwai' . She asks him to say something  in her praises but the husband is shy enough to say anything.

Not getting proper words and under the continuous pestering of the lady, he utters some words in her praise (of course she expected them to be in terms of her beauty) in his halwai language, comparing with jalebi, rasgulla etc etc which annoys the lady :D

So taking inspiration from this one, i went on my hawa hawai mission ( i named it so as i know my this stint will soon be blown into hawa becoming hawa hawai :P )of pestering S to say something in my praise...as usual to my expectation and understanding of S, the same thing happened. He had no words to express which gave me the feeling that 'ewww don't i have anything special which deserves a praise other than my attitude, sincerity, being understanding and blah blah.... :( :( '

Is it really so difficult for husbands to praise their wife of her beauty? I believe these husbands at one point must have seen something beautiful in their wives due to which they got into the marriage institution and that also an arranged one where not much is known about attitude, the most visible one is the physical beauty only. Then now why after few years of marriage they become so shy to express it, or either they don't find their wives beautiful as a women , other than as a wife, mother, and daughter-in-law.
We women loves to be pampered, but i guess the husbands( exceptions always exist ;) ) are so dumb to understand it .

After having a child, its really hard to catch up some 'WE' time between husband and wife, at least this is the case with me. But yesterday we were lucky enough to get some of this quality "WE" time. It was such a refresher to have a conversation with S , as for a change he was the speaker most of the time to my initiated points.

Chitchatting about family, pari, career, home, extended families etc. all made sense. Else i was bored of playing candy crush and checking fb updates after pari slept in the night.

Actually S has a hectic office schedule, and i just feel guilty somewhere if i make him to work or look after pari once he is back home.
But i guess this quality time should be there , he should also engage with pari to improve and get involve with the kid..Whatever, as of today i am feeling good, and also rarely irritated  with the kid.

Phew, the whitewashing of the house seems such a tiring job...From past 15 days its been going on such a busy busy work schedule for the house under renovation :P

This time i have got my bathroom renovated. Renovation includes getting rid of useless accessories from it. As a result old accessories, necessities, and tiling everything is changed now. And yeah for sure it gives a good feeling. This is my first time renovation (& investment too ;) ) in this house...

Now coming to the whitewashing area, for paint also this time we have opted for the textured walls. I am liking the drawing room and the bedroom. The paint and feel looks good.  Finally,  after almost 1 week , the floor is free of the painters, and awful dust.
Pari is now 1 year 6 months and 27 days.
Kids grow so fast. Last year on the same date she was just 7 months old baby trying to learn to sit on her own. And now she is running in the whole house on her little feet. Not forget to mention she has her very own tantrums to get what she wants. Some of her activities i am listing here which i love to watch.

1. She loves to play with water. Be it in the bathroom, kitchen or anywhere , where there is water there you will definitely find her. From any corner she can hear the sound of flowing water to play with it.

2. Right now she has 8 teeths-  4 upper ones and 4 bottom ones. More teeths are inline to show their sparkle :)

3. She can speak papa, mumma, da, nana, bua and bow bow ( for dog)

4. Every evening when her papa comes from office she goes to a car drive with us. She sits on the driving seat with her papa and give a shying but proudy smile to me.

5. She says "daa" for tuar daal.

6. She recognizes grapes so well that wherever she sees its picture, takes her hand to it then to mouth, showing the eating gesture for grapes.

7. For going outside she uses the word 'Baa'. Whenever she wants to say that someone has gone out of home, or she wants to go for an outing, she will say "Baa"

8. She likes to watch " baa baa black sheep" on my mobile phone.

9. Whenever we go for a movie, she likes to eat popcorns.

10. She commands everyone with her fingers :D

11. Whenever music/songs she hear, automatically starts dancing.

12. On hearing the indicator for doing car back, she automatically starts to say "aao aao aao"  along with her hands gesture.

13. She do "jai jai" in such a great manner. Wherever she see god/goddess statues/pictures, she put her hands together and says 'jai'

14. Wherever phone rings, she comes to pick it up, be it mobile or landline.

15. She is so much fond of cosmetics.Keeps on applying all stuff by just watching me and her grand mother.

Such a truth lies within this quote.  I always keep on analyzing myself on the ways, activities, actions, communication all and everything which is related to me and my baby.  At times I am so angry on her regular boo demands and at the same time do feel pity on myself about getting angry on that little angel. Literally it feels so annoying and so disturbing .
