The homework time for Kiddo is a real fun filled activity. Sometimes watercolors, sometimes crayons, pari gets involved with her drawing homework with a great enthusiasm. She loves to do it. Sometimes paint with brush, other times paint with hands, thumbs and fingers...though it gets a little messy but she learns quickly to balance herself causing minimum mess. She doesn't allow me to hold the brush or her hand, instead prefers herself to do it. Though has caused some damage to the school book, tearing one or two pages :P
At times for some of her drawings she gets stars from her class teacher, and she really loves to flaunt it saying ' mumma star' ....hehehe I know its not me but the star in the drawing book.
Here are her few art works :
Yay..got the star !!

2 Stars this time :)

We have got few board books for her , which she loves to read with me.
One of her favorite play with her water colors is, taking out all the color cakes from the pack, and arrange it one by one back in the tray. In this course she has already broke one of her color cake :(
By the way, the wax crayons are already in a bad shape, all broken off after she discovered that the color sticks do break when thrown on the floor, and that was a fun activity for her.
Posting the pics of her possessions :)

Sharing makes happy ....hahaha feeling happy with the thought that just now I have mortalise her childhood possessions !!

What should be the reaction on seeing the first grey hair on your head. The reactions can vary, it can be  surprise, worry, blow on the heart ( females may  not welcome it so easily) or anything else.
Yesterday I went for a haircut, and the hair stylist informed me about it along with his suggestions of not applying hena and go for hair coloring and blah blah. My first reaction to my first grey hair was "oh my god, how can it happen, i have nice hairs" , and the very next moment in my mind i was figuring out the ways to get rid of those few greys :D
On the way to home, was just thinking about this grey hair only. Whether it marks that I am growing old, maturing like my matured hair , or it is just a reminder of end of my twenties.
Whatever be it, but this grey hair thing is not so cool, for me who is totally in love with her hairs :(

Ever imagined, how all the slang used by you turn into well spoken respectful words once you become parents. There is a huge responsibility on your shoulders for raising a well behaved child. All those horrible words you once used during your school/college days just vanish one by one as you enter the sequences of dating, marriage and parenting. Now you have an eagle's eye on your words and actions. Dare you do any shortcut action in-front of your child, be ready to see him/her repeat it at the very same moment. Kids have such a sharp, creative, high grasping capacity to learn things instantly. And as said bad things are easier to learn than good ones. Like its so difficult to teach the child to do 'namastey' , but damn easy to behave as spoiled brats.

Lot many posts in need of making their way to the blog , but this all festive season of Diwali making me so lazy to write anything. Apart from laziness two more reasons for the delay..firstly kiddo not allowing me to get my 'me' time, and secondly due to this absence of me time, the laptop, words, and thoughts are at a distance. Just in case if I would have a large reader audience ( big dream as of now ;) ) they would have poked me day and night forcing me to break the spell of idleness. Favorably, here I am free with my will to post whatever and whenever.
Have many updates about kiddo, my awesome vacation to 'Goa', and the festival Diwali celebrations.
Umm...let me start with the first flight journey of kiddo. We were quite apprehensive about her travel. Scrapping all our fears, she is such a darling. She not only enjoyed the whole journey, but also took her nap, ate her food, and read the flight magazine ( showed mercy for not tearing it). All time she carried her teddy bear with herself. No one can take it away from her for a minute even. The checkin times where we had to put the teddy for check was such a restless period for her, she kept on searching her bear till she saw it coming out of the check. KIDS :D
What should I order mumma :)

She enjoyed every bit of our Goa trip. Even got drenched with all of us in the sea waves, waded in the Arvalem waterfall waters, and the most wonderful part is, she enjoyed the trip. No fuss, no dramas...all smiles :)

After the trip, she has many changes in her. She now started speaking words like:

uncle, auntie, ma'm, maami, naani, pink, purple, white, blue...to be precise not only she say blue, but she also identifies the blue color. She enact the hand movements for the rhymes like 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' , 'Johnny Johnny Yes Papa', 'Papa finger Papa finger where are you', 'Where is thumbkin'. Also now she is able to speak her name as 'Pa', school as 'koo' :)
And last but not the least, she has started dancing very well. As soon as she hears music, she starts dance movements. Its so beautiful to watch the kiddo making dance postures. She needs a professional training to encourage her dancing interests. Once she gets to speaking full fledge, I have thought of getting her registered to classical dancing classes.
